About The Position

Highlands Behavioral Health System is an 86 bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in Littleton, CO. Highlands features individual units for adolescents, adults, and seniors, and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. Website: https://highlandsbhs.com We are seeking a motivated Business Development professional who is both relationship-driven and business savvy. The Business Development Representative directly serves as the liaison between the facility outpatient department, the community, and referring agencies. This individual is directly responsible for creating demand for the facility’s outpatient services through the effective application of ethical marketing principles and sales methods. In collaboration with the Director of Business Development and Business Development Team, the Business Development Representative presents a positive and professional public image of the facility within the community. This individual is also responsible for implementing facility strategic sales and marketing plans, enhancing the facility’s brand/image, effectively managing their assigned territory and accounts, and works to achieve departmental and facility business development goals. The Business Development Representative must be able to demonstrate tact, resourcefulness, patience and dedication in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable using tech platforms, understands how social media supports lead generation and brand awareness, and enjoys turning ideas into measurable results. Hours are based on departmental and facility needs and may include day, evening and weekend hours, as directed by the Director of Business Development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field required. Experience may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis in lieu of a degree.
  • Prior marketing and/or sales experience within a behavioral healthcare setting preferred.
  • Three years minimum documented experience in referral development, account management, sales growth, and physician relationships preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of social media platforms for professional and business use and comfortable with technology, including analytical tools and digital platforms.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
