Join Our Pack: Intake Coordinator (Volunteer) Organization: Cascade Beagle Rescue (CBR) Location: Remote (Volunteer Position) About Us: At Cascade Beagle Rescue, we're more than a rescue; we're a community of beagle lovers united by a common mission: to take unwanted, neglected, abused, homeless beagles, and beagles at risk of euthanasia and provide them with emotional, medical, and behavioral support so that they can be adopted into loving permanent homes. If you're passionate about making a direct impact, you've found your pack. The Role: Are you the caring and organized person we need to welcome beagles into our rescue family? As our Intake Coordinator you will be the first friendly voice and point of contact for beagles in need. You'll play the most crucial role in the first chapter of their rescue journey-assessing their situation, and when the right fit for CBR, saying "yes!" to safety, and helping them step paw into their new, temporary foster home. This is where their happy-ever-after begins, and you get to be the one to start it. Who We're Looking For: We're seeking a kind-hearted and dedicated individual who has: A huge love for animals and a big soft spot for the beagle breed's unique charm. Excellent communication skills - you're a people person who can talk to anyone with patience and empathy. A knack for organization and a sharp eye for detail. Juggling multiple tasks doesn't scare you! The ability to work independently from home, but with the teamwork spirit to collaborate with our wonderful volunteers. Basic comfort with technology, email, and social media. (Experience with pet adoption platforms is a bonus, but we can teach you!) Reliable internet access and a quiet space to make phone calls. Experience with Beagles is a huge plus! The Reward: This is a volunteer role with a flexible schedule, requiring roughly [e.g., 5-10 hours] per week.
