As a vital part of our beach services, you'll play a key role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional beach experience. This is a very labor-intensive role.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of beach safety procedures is desirable.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, exposed to sun, wind, and rain.
- Capability to lift and carry beach equipment weighing at least 150lbs along a large stretch of beach.
- Endurance for prolonged periods of standing and walking on sandy surfaces.
- Flexibility to perform physical tasks associated with beach setup, tear down and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Beach Setup and Maintenance: Set up beach chairs, umbrellas, and other equipment for guests.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the beach area throughout the day.
- Guest Assistance: Greet and assist guests with their beach needs in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide information about beach services, activities, and resort amenities.
- Escort to the beach chairs and raise umbrellas as needed.
- Equipment Handling: Safely lift and transport beach equipment, including chairs, umbrellas, and recreational items, weighing up to 150lbs.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of beach equipment.
- Safety Monitoring: Keep a vigilant eye on beach conditions and promptly respond to any safety concerns.
- Assist with guest emergencies and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Promote a positive and enjoyable atmosphere on the beach.
