About The Position

This is an entry level position for those wishing to enter the automotive industry. The role involves using the industry’s most advanced tools to help customers get fair market value or better in the sale of their vehicles. In this position, you will be the voice of the dealership, communicating directly with customers via phone, text, and email, and coordinating directly with top dealership managers. Heritage Ford has served the Louisville and Southern Indiana community for over 35 years, and this role offers an opportunity to grow personally and professionally in a supportive environment, with promotion and pay increases available to efficient individuals. BDC agents communicate directly with customers and coordinate data and information sharing among managers within the sales department, providing information to customers and coordinating customer visits.

Requirements

  • Schedule: M - F 9:00A - 5:00P OR 11:00A - 7:00P and every other Saturday
  • Worthy of trust
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to smoothly share information and coordinate events with staff throughout the dealership
  • Capable of computer data entry
  • Ability to quickly learn processes and product knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Answering customer questions and coordinating sales appointments
  • Communicating directly with customers via multiple mediums
  • Coordinating data sharing among senior managers and other staff members
  • Properly using the best information technology systems in the industry
