The primary role of the BDC Sales Manager is responsible for responding to customer inquiries and ensuring that the dealership actualizes its maximum profit potential on sales.

Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication is required
  • Must be able to manage in a fast paced work environment
  • Must be able to manage a team, motivate and develop
  • Must be at least eighteen years of age
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background & drug test)

Responsibilities

  • Answers inbound sales phone inquiries, setting appointments as necessary in an efficient professional manner.
  • Make outbound service and sales phone inquiries, setting appointments as necessary in an efficient professional manner.
  • Reply to online email leads and requests for sales information within store’s standards.
  • Maintain log of daily activities and completed daily tasks.
  • Remain in contact with sales managers about process concerns and changes.
  • As specified by management, utilize the manufacturer’s prospecting and marketing tools if applicable.
  • Keep a log of customers who visit the dealership.
  • Reports on time to work and follows the schedule provided for you.
  • Calls supervisor if he/she cannot be to work on time.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns
  • Assist in motivating, training and developing employees
