About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused BDC Customer Care Specialist for sales and service to join our growing team at Route 128 Honda. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to educate customers on our vehicles, products, and features while delivering a top-tier customer experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong reading skills with the ability to interpret business documents, procedures, and regulations
  • Excellent written communication skills, including reports, business correspondence, and advertising copy
  • Strong verbal and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, managers, and team members
  • Basic mathematical skills, including the ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, and other figures
  • Ability to follow written, verbal, diagram, or schedule-based instructions
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Responsibilities

  • Promote and deliver a consistently exceptional customer experience
  • Interact with customers to identify their needs and create opportunities for new and used vehicle sales presentations
  • Work closely with the BDC Manager and BDC team to ensure all sales lead opportunities are properly tracked and documented in the CRM
  • Complete inbound and outbound phone calls as assigned by the BDC Manager
  • Actively participate as a member of the BDC team, including cross-training in internet leads and phone-based sales prospecting
  • Stay up to date on new vehicles, products, features, and accessories and communicate their benefits to customers
  • Attend product knowledge sessions, sales training, and BDC meetings as required
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
