About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Operate and monitor batch plant equipment to ensure accurate and timely concrete production Maintain plant systems, perform routine inspections, and address basic mechanical or operational issues Coordinate with dispatch, drivers, and team members to meet customer delivery schedules Follow all safety procedures and maintain clean, organized work areas Record production data and support quality control processes
Requirements
- Ability to safely operate and troubleshoot batching equipment and related systems
- Strong focus on safety, accuracy, and process consistency
- Capability to perform physical tasks, including climbing, lifting, and working around industrial equipment
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Dependable, organized, and adaptable in a fast‑paced operational environment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
