About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Operate and monitor batch plant systems to ensure accurate and timely production. Maintain equipment and perform basic troubleshooting to support continuous operations. Safely load materials and manage inventory to meet production goals. Complete required documentation, inspections, and quality checks. Work collaboratively with plant and dispatch teams to support customer needs.
Requirements
- Capability to operate and learn batching systems, heavy equipment, and related technology.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced production environment.
- Problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail and reliability.
- Willingness to perform physical tasks and work in varying outdoor conditions.
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
