About The Position

Join the Bellevue Club and Hotel team. The Bellevue Club Athletics Department is seeking part-time Basketball Scorekeepers to join the team. Scorekeepers perform set-up, score keeping and clean up duties for the Men's Basketball League at the Bellevue Club. Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred. Current high school student acceptable.
Previous score keeping experience required.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with both members and co-workers.
Ability to keep clear and accurate records of games played.
Good basic mathematical skills required.
Ability to lift and carry 10 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Experience at the high school level or above preferred.

Responsibilities

Retrieves jerseys from the laundry prior to each game.
Meets with Referees prior to the games to ensure game rules
Sweeps the gymnasium floor prior to game time.
Sets up score tables, chairs, water, and clocks.
Accurately records player numbers, names, and statistics.
Sweeps gymnasium floor after games and ensures the surface is clean for the next use.
Collects jerseys and towels and returns them to the laundry after each game.
Puts away score tables, chairs and clocks after each game.
