Base File Home Loan Specialist I
About The Position
The Base File Home Loan Specialist is an entry level role supporting various Channels. As a Home Loan Specialist, you will act as a key contributor to facilitate efficient and effective processes that support business and customer service objectives. The Base File Loan Specialist will: Perform routine data entry and validation tasks Initiate third party orders (title, appraisal, hazard, flood cert, credit, etc.) Review and validate loan documents Handle routine calls, emails and/or chat responses Monitor work queues and intervene as needed Interact with multiple departments to expedite processing and/or issue resolution Perform other related duties as required and assigned Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values
Requirements
- Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, mathematical skills and sound judgment
- Capable communicator, written and oral
- Demonstrated proficiency with computers and mainstream computer applications (Microsoft, Google, etc.)
- Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred
- General understanding of applicable Federal, State and Local regulations
