Responsibilities

  • Maintain friendly and welcoming demeanor
  • Set up and maintain a clean workstation
  • Complete daily prep tasks given
  • Constantly move throughout the kitchen and restaurant
  • Comprehensive menu knowledge with ability to communicate details
  • Take customer phone and in-person food and drink orders
  • Read and understand tickets to determine what items needs to be prepared and when
  • Follow and memorize detailed recipes, using consistent methods
  • Assemble all drinks on menu including pulling espresso shots, cold brews, and kombucha
  • Constantly monitor and maintain food and drink standards for recipe adherence, production, appearance, correctness, quality, and safety
  • Assist with every facet of restaurant front of the house procedures to ensure an outstanding guest experience
  • Handle guest concerns by listening; informing a manager; and helping to resolve issues
  • Operate a variety of kitchen equipment and tools
  • Process accurate cash and credit card transactions with point-of-sale system
  • Assist in stocking and cleaning dry goods area
  • Assist in dish upkeep
  • Take out trash and boxes
  • Support team members including leadership
  • Execute effective communication skills
  • Exude a positive attitude under stress
  • Contribute to a fun and professional work environment
  • Consistently execute follow-through
