About The Position

We are looking for a skilled and friendly Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee and customer service, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Requirements

Prior barista or food service experience preferred, but not required (training provided).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Friendly, positive attitude with a customer-first mindset.
Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems.
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve coffee and tea beverages (e.g., espresso, lattes, cappuccinos) in accordance with company recipes and quality standards.
Prepare Sandwiches and other food items.
Stock and organize retail items.
Greet customers, take orders, and handle cash or card transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, equipment, and seating area.
Restock supplies (e.g., coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups) as needed.
Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times.
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer needs and complaints in a professional manner.
Educate customers on the menu, making recommendations based on their preferences.
Work as part of a team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Open and/or close the café according to company procedures, if assigned.
