About The Position
Better Buzz Coffee is opening a new location in Phoenix, AZ, expected to open in July 2026, and is seeking Baristas. The company emphasizes a lifestyle fueled by fun, teamwork, and creating connections through coffee, focusing on energy, authenticity, and community. Better Buzz Coffee seeks individuals who are gregarious, hospitable, accommodating, competitive, energetic, and available to work at least 22 hours per week, including weekends and holidays. Once hired, training will occur at an already open nearby location. Founded in 2002 by two college students, Better Buzz has grown across California, Nevada, and Arizona, roasting its own organic, fair trade, and rainforest-certified coffee weekly. Requirements
- Passion for great coffee and exceptional guest service
- Strong communicator with a positive, solution-oriented attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and available for nights, weekends and holidays
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year experience in coffee, food service, or hospitality preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver the Better Buzz experience through fast, friendly, and genuine service
- Be knowledgeable about our coffee, tea, food, and specialty drinks
- Prepare and serve beverages and food consistently following recipe standards
- Work all café positions — our baristas are cross-trained and adaptable – including working in our kitchens to make food to order
- Keep our space clean, safe – always ready for guests and teammates
- Cashier - Point of Sale
- Expo - Inside & Outside Order Taking
- Working the Drive-Thru (if drive-thru)
- Supporting Third-Party Delivery & Online Orders
- Back of House - Cooking & Prepping
