About The Position

Role Overview The Barback is responsible for supporting bartenders by maintaining stock levels, preparing supplies, and ensuring the bar operates efficiently to deliver exceptional guest service in a restaurant environment. Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members to meet service standards
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, and guest relations
  • Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English for guest communication
  • Ability to lift and carry 10–30 pounds regularly, and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and AT&T Discovery District events
  • Physical ability to perform tasks such as reaching, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods
  • TABC Certification (required)
  • Food Handler’s Certification (required)

Nice To Haves

  • 2–3 years of experience in a fast-paced bar, high-end club, or restaurant preferred

Responsibilities

  • Stock bar items daily and refill ice bins as needed
  • Anticipate bartender and operational needs throughout each shift
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all bar areas
  • Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to work as scheduled
  • Understand assigned work areas and complete setup as directed
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and operating standards
  • Ensure prompt and high-quality service to all guests
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
  • Practice safe work habits and follow all safety policies and procedures
  • Complete all required company and job-specific safety training
