We succeed together as one unified team. The Role Duties & Responsibilities Prepare and portion ingredients according to recipes and production requirements. Wash, chop, measure, and organize food items for service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas, coolers, and storage. Assist cooks and chefs with bulk production, setup, and plating. Label, date, and store food items following FIFO and temperature control standards. Operate kitchen tools and equipment safely, including knives, mixers, and slicers. Minimize waste and monitor product quality. Follow all Legends health, safety, and sanitation procedures. Communicate with supervisors about stock shortages or quality issues. Skills & Abilities Basic culinary knowledge and knife-handling proficiency. Ability to follow direction and work efficiently in a team environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Reliable, punctual, and focused on quality outcomes. Knowledge, Education, & Experience Food Handlers Certification required. Minimum 1 year of kitchen or food preparation experience. Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical Demands Standing and walking for extended periods. Frequent lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds. Bending, reaching, and repetitive motions throughout shifts. Exposure to varying kitchen temperatures and equipment noise. Requires clear vision and communication for safety and accuracy.
