About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and energetic </span></span> Barback / Bar Helper</b> to support a bartending team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is organized, quick on their feet, and committed to providing excellent customer service by ensuring the bar is fully stocked, clean, and operating efficiently. This assignment will run through Mardi Gras season with the potential for a permanent position on the team.

Requirements

• Previous bar, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders during high-volume service periods
• Keep bar area clean, organized, and well-maintained
• Wash and restock glassware and bar tools
• Remove trash and empty recycling as needed
• Monitor inventory levels and notify management of shortages
• Assist with opening and closing duties
• Provide friendly and professional support to guests when needed
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines
• Break down bar area and equipment at events to load into company vehicles
