About The Position

Requirements

• Customer service: Excellent communication and a professional, courteous attitude.
• Physical ability: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects (often up to 40 pounds), and bend, squat, and push repeatedly.
• Attention to detail: Ensuring all setup and service details meet high standards.
• Flexibility: Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.
• Experience: Previous experience in a banquet or restaurant setting is often preferred but may not be required

Responsibilities

• Event setup: Arranging tables, chairs, linens, and silverware according to event plans and specifications.
• Service: Delivering and serving food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner.
• Guest assistance: Responding to guest questions, complaints, and requests, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the event.
• Room maintenance: Cleaning and clearing tables during and after service, and preparing the room for the next event.
• Teamwork: Coordinating with other banquet staff, such as chefs and bartenders, and assisting fellow team members as needed.
• Side work: Completing various tasks to prepare for events, such as folding napkins and polishing silverware.
