You will be working with a passionate & talented Banquets team to drive excellence in guest experience and the overall success of Banquets and Private Events, by delivering high standards in food quality, guest experience, & colleague engagement while in alignment with the culture and values of Langham Hospitality Group.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior banquets and food & beverage /hospitality experience required.
  • Activities include standing, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, handling, grasping, lifting, carrying, talking, and walking.
  • Considerable repetitive motion of arms and shoulders as related to the movement of furniture and staging. Lifting up to 50lbs
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Set up Banquet rooms per specifications on the BEO.
  • Setting pad,pens,glasses water pitchers.
  • Maintain cleanliness of all storage closets.
  • Maintain cleanliness of all Banquet rooms and equipment.
  • Completing the weekly store room list.
  • Ensuring the guest has all boxes.
  • Helping the guest with any needs they may have including any last minute room changes.
  • Be aware of and practice Langham Hotel’s service standards.
  • Positive team player with the ability to get larger tasks completed.
  • Follow health and safety procedures according to hotel specifications.
  • Work well in a team atmosphere and independently.
  • Performs general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by your supervisor to adhere to Health standards.
  • Must adhere to All State, Federal and Corporate food handling and alcohol serving regulations.
  • Clean Banquet Rooms including: Vacuuming, dusting ledges, check for cleanliness of walls & doors and correct as needed.
  • Follow instructions and or floor plans
  • Additional duties may also be requested by supervisor.
