About The Position

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Woodbury, NY. The Banquet Sales Manager will oversee the sale, coordination and execution of events to exceed client needs and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include achieving weekly, monthly and annual sales goals, handling event planning from inception to completion, building and maintaining client relationships, developing and executing effective sales strategies, and collaborating with other departments to deliver high-quality events. The candidate will act as the primary contact for clients and ensure events are executed seamlessly.

Requirements

  • Must be genuinely friendly person and have the innate ability to connect with people.
  • Must be an excellent listener and an even better communicator.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple events simultaneously.
  • Must excel at selling catered events and event planning in order to manage events and drive bookings successfully.
  • Must have a proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and build long-term client relationships.
  • Must have at least 3 years experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Knowledge of Triple Seat, MS office are helpful.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or 10 years experience in full service restaurants, onsite caterers, or hotel event experience.
