  • Experienced in banquet operations, food and beverage service, or hospitality leadership; supervisory experience preferred.
  • Knowledgeable in event setup styles, service standards, and safety practices.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of banquet and catering events in alignment with OTH and brand standards.
  • Partner closely with the Banquet Manager and culinary team to ensure events are prepared accurately and delivered flawlessly.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate banquet team members to provide attentive, professional, and personalized service.
  • Oversee event setup, service execution, and breakdown to ensure efficiency, safety, and attention to detail.
  • Anticipate guest and client needs, resolving concerns promptly while maintaining a calm and solutions-focused approach.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service standards.
  • Assist with scheduling, staffing levels, and labor management based on event volume.
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate expectations, event details, and service priorities.
  • Maintain strong communication with Sales, Events, Culinary, and hotel leadership to support a seamless guest experience.
  • Monitor equipment, inventory, and banquet spaces to ensure readiness and presentation standards are met.
  • Step into a leadership role in the absence of the Banquet Manager as needed.
