Responsibilities

Support the planning, coordination, and execution of banquet and catering events in alignment with OTH and brand standards.
Partner closely with the Banquet Manager and culinary team to ensure events are prepared accurately and delivered flawlessly.
Lead, coach, and motivate banquet team members to provide attentive, professional, and personalized service.
Oversee event setup, service execution, and breakdown to ensure efficiency, safety, and attention to detail.
Anticipate guest and client needs, resolving concerns promptly while maintaining a calm and solutions-focused approach.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service standards.
Assist with scheduling, staffing levels, and labor management based on event volume.
Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate expectations, event details, and service priorities.
Maintain strong communication with Sales, Events, Culinary, and hotel leadership to support a seamless guest experience.
Monitor equipment, inventory, and banquet spaces to ensure readiness and presentation standards are met.
Step into a leadership role in the absence of the Banquet Manager as needed.
