About The Position

The lively Signia by Hilton Bonnet Creek and Waldorf Astoria Orlando are looking for a Banquet Cook I to join their team. The Signia is home to 231,000 sq. ft. of flexible space and innovative technology for meetings and events, while the Waldorf Astoria has over 120,000 sq. ft. of multi-functional meeting space. Ideal candidate has at least 2-5 years of culinary experience. Large scale banquet experience is highly preferred. Shift Pattern\: varies with mix of AM and PM shifts, including shifts starting as early as 3am. Weekend and holiday availability required. What will I be doing? As a Cook, you would be responsible for preparing food items in accordance with recipes and established standards in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability. Responsibilities

Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times
Manage guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner
Ensure knowledge of menu and all food products
Stock and maintain designated food station(s)
Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen
Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items, as needed
