SUMMARY: Provide Food and Beverage services to all guests in attendance at banquet functions by performing the following duties personally or through the supervision of subordinate associates. Perform the day to day Supervision of Banquet Events.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), and a minimum of three years related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • This position involves driving a company vehicle and/or company insured vehicle. A valid driver’s license is required, along with successful completion of a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and annual MVRs, according to company guidelines. Follow safe, defensive driving practices at all times, obey all traffic laws, regulations, signals and markings, use a seat belt, and follow Company policies and procedures, including the Substance Abuse Policy. Never drive while under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medications that may impair your ability to operate a vehicle safely, report any accidents immediately and cooperate fully with insurance claims investigations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Banquet Management in ensuring the efficiency of all banquet department operation.
  • Monitor the performance of all Employees under your supervision. React and report in writing all issues for follow up with manager.
  • Manage all Resort property and equipment so it is maintained in good condition and not abused.
  • Maintain a safe and accident free environment.
  • Assist in the training of new Employees and retraining service standards.
  • Ensure that all banquet storage areas are clean and orderly at all times pre-shift and post-shift.
  • Ensure side work is performed as assigned.
  • Attend outlet staff meetings as scheduled
  • Adhere to all Property and Department standards including Safety Guidelines.
  • In this position you will be expected to be available to work in various locations of Food and Beverage outlets depending on business levels. In addition, you will be expected to work holidays wherever needed even if your primary outlet is closed.
