About The Position

Work with various hotel Associates in Food and Beverage and Catering to ensure bar service for events is correct and up to standards of quality. Set up portable bar with the appropriate items (as needed): garnishes, glasses, ice, all liquor requested for function, mixes, straws, napkins, etc. Maintain bar supplies throughout the function. Making really great beverages! Using POS system to ring bar purchases for guest's drinks.

Requirements

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate with guests and associates.
• Previous experience in high-volume bar as bartender
• High work ethic and self-initiative
• Able to work in high pressure and fast paced situations
• Able to work varying schedules to include nights, weekends, and holidays
• Be able to accurately memorize drink ingredients and garnishes for use in beverage service.
