About The Position

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a bartender, preferably in banquet or event settings.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling procedures.
  • Capability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
  • Legal eligibility to serve alcoholic beverages in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., BASSET).
  • Experience working in a high-volume banquet or hospitality environment.
  • Knowledge of a wide range of cocktails, wines, and spirits.
  • Strong multitasking skills and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage pairings.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve beverages promptly and accurately according to event specifications and guest preferences.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems to process transactions efficiently and maintain accurate records of sales.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and banquet staff to ensure smooth service and address any special requests or concerns.
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, including serving guests, restocking inventory, and coordinating with team members during high-volume events.
