About The Position
Our client, a well-established law firm in the Vineland area, is seeking a Bankruptcy Attorney to join their growing practice. The firm is open to entry-level attorneys, as well as attorneys with prior experience in bankruptcy law. This role offers hands-on training, mentorship, and long-term growth potential. The starting salary is $75,000 annually.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active New Jersey Bar admission
- Entry-level attorneys welcome; bankruptcy experience is a plus
- Strong research, writing, and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication and client-service skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 bankruptcy matters
- Draft and prepare petitions, motions, pleadings, and related filings
- Conduct legal research and prepare supporting memoranda
- Communicate with clients and guide them through the bankruptcy process
- Assist senior attorneys with hearings, negotiations, and case preparation
- Maintain accurate case documentation and ensure compliance with bankruptcy laws
