About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to join our clients' remote team, specializing in Bankruptcy and Foreclosure matters. In this role, you will play a critical part in representing clients through complex legal proceedings, ensuring the timely and effective resolution of cases. The ideal candidate will bring strong legal acumen, a commitment to client service, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment. Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active and in good standing license to practice law in Maryland and/or Virginia State Bar
• Must possess a valid vehicle and be willing to travel to in-person hearings as needed.
• Must reside in Maryland or Virginia.
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize a high-volume caseload effectively.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality client service.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly detail-oriented with a consistent track record of meeting deadlines and maintaining attendance.
• Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced, multitasking legal environment.

Nice To Haves

• 0–5 years of experience in bankruptcy and foreclosure law; experience preferred; training provided for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in bankruptcy and foreclosure proceedings, including appearances at hearings and mediations.
• Draft, review, and manage legal pleadings, motions, and supporting documentation with precision.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with clients, court staff, and opposing counsel.
• Ensure all case-related tasks are completed accurately and submitted within established deadlines.
• Assist with special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned by the legal team.
