We are seeking a Baler for our Louisville manufacturing facility. A Baler is responsible for the segregating and baling of recyclable material in the form of paper board, corrugated and plastic film. Completes daily housekeeping tasks for the baling equipment and baling room area.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma
- Prior warehouse or manufacturing environment experience preferred.
- 1 year of sit down forklift experience required.
Responsibilities
- Retrieve full recycling carts from the production floor at various times during the shift.
- Supply empty recycling carts to the production floor as needed.
- Segregate the various types of recycling material from the production area.
- Supply the recyclable material to the appropriate baling equipment.
- Tie off and tag completed bales.
- Transfer completed bales to bale storage room via forklift.
- Retrieve trash bags and corrugate from the production floor at the end of the shift and take to trash compactor.
- Load out baling trucks as needed.
