About The Position

This position performs a variety of tasks to assist the Quality Control and Returns Department including, but not limited to; performing repetitive repackaging of merchandise, loading and unloading trailers and processing recycling materials. Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM Perks: Sleep in and have evenings off! Pay Range: $18.00 per hour We share our pay range because transparency matters. Requirements

  • 0-6 months of related experience or equivalent education/experience.
  • Must be able to solely and safely lift and move materials up to 110 lbs.
  • Must be certified through company Crown Lift Training Program to safely operate forklift and Pallet Jack equipment.
  • Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

  • Transfers trash and recyclable material to the compactor/baler area and maintains a clean work area.
  • Separates recyclable material from trash.
  • Operates all machinery used to handle trash or recycled material.
  • Loads/unloads Junk bedding, Shuttle, Receiving and Recycling trailers.
  • Handles, repackages, and moves returned merchandise.
  • Sorts, transports, processes recycling material and disposes all trash generated from the department’s daily operations.
  • Assist with the overall cleanliness of the DC by ensuring floor is clear of recycling debris.
  • Uses and maintains tools and equipment in accordance with company and OSHA safety standards.
  • Any other function or responsibility as assigned by the Supervisor.
