Requirements

• Ability to operate industrial baling equipment or willingness to undergo training.
• Basic understanding of sorting recyclable materials and safety procedures.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Sort recyclable materials such as cardboard, plastics, and metals according to established guidelines to ensure proper processing.
• Operate baling machines safely and efficiently to compact sorted materials into bales for storage and shipment.
• Inspect materials for contamination or non-recyclable items and remove them to maintain quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sorting and baling areas to promote a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets and report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
