Requirements

3-5 years of related experience in food production or manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of USDA, SQF, FDA, and OSHA regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production-related business systems.
Proven leadership in driving safety initiatives and maintaining compliance standards
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in delivering training and technical presentations
bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a USDA-regulated environment is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure proper setup and timely startup of production equipment and machinery.
Maintain compliance with USDA, SQF, FDA, and OSHA standards and ensure all employees follow proper procedures.
Monitor equipment and employee practices to uphold quality and safety standards.
Supervise and optimize workforce staffing, scheduling, and training to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Closely monitor product quality and compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.
Schedule product flow to maximize efficiency while minimizing waste.
Oversee time and attendance records for production staff. Check and close ADP system in a timely manner.
Manage yield reporting, Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE), labor efficiency tracking.
Updated daily production into APTEAN system for accurate OEE tracking.
Daily meet speeds/standard setting into Aptean system.
Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory management and monitor WIP inventory to prevent product expiration.
Monitor and track daily waste to meet standards by the company. Generate action plan to minimize waste levels.
Perform readily production order consumptions through Business Central Software.
Implement and sustain lean manufacturing practices to drive continuous improvement and cost savings.
Enforce and promote workplace safety policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
Daily level 1 meeting with floor employees.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
