About The Position

Lunds & Byerlys Mitchell Road is currently hiring for a self-directed and outgoing Bakery Production Supervisor to help maintain the environment where we produce high-quality products for our customers! This position works a full-time schedule and earns a competitive wage of $70,000-$96,000. We operate 24 hours/day and 365 days/year. For this position we are looking for someone with availability around the hours of 7:00am-3:00pm. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
  • Food Safety certification
  • Two to four years supervisory experience of 15 or more employees; preferably in a manufacturing setting
  • Continuous flow systems

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and coach staff to achieve location and personal goals
  • Hire, train, and develop employees, including performance evaluations and supervision
  • Plan, implement, and manage labor and production schedules
  • Train staff on equipment assembly, disassembly, and operation
  • Oversee timely changeovers to comply with regulatory guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with USDA, FDA, OSHA, AIB, SQF, and other regulatory agencies
  • Maintain HACCP compliance, including housekeeping and record-keeping
  • Monitor and document shrink while ensuring temporary staff follow GMP standards
