About The Position

The Bakery Production position is responsible for the preparation, production, and packaging of various bakery products, completing daily and weekly production levels, as well as maintaining efficiency and quality standards set by Dillanos Coffee Roasters. This position schedule is Monday through Friday, 6 AM to 2 PM, or until the day’s work is complete

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of food preparation and baking is a plus.

Responsibilities

Follow the production schedule for bakery needs, following recipes accurately to produce products for the day, as well as preparing the appropriate number of boxes and packaging material needed for bakery goods.
Communicate production numbers to the supervisor and print appropriate labels.
Know and understand what food allergens are present to avoid cross-contamination.
Know and understand Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to eliminate chemical, physical, and biological hazards.
Stock and rotate bakery products in the freezer.
Inform the bakery operations supervisor of any equipment maintenance needs.
Keep all surfaces, equipment, pans, and utensils clean and sanitized after each use, ensuring readiness for the next shift.
Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules for the production area.
Stock ingredients to be ready for the next production shift and understand how to read lot codes on each ingredient.
Assist in additional cleaning and maintenance duties around the facility as needed.
