About The Position

The Bakery/Dept Leader is responsible for embracing the Customer 1st strategy to create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. This role involves establishing and maintaining a safe and clean environment, achieving sales and profit goals for the department, and monitoring quality assurance standards. The leader will direct, support, and supervise all functions, duties, and activities within the Bakery department, while also role modeling the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. Smith’s Food and Drug, based in Salt Lake City, Utah, merged with The Kroger Company in 1998 and serves customers in over 140 stores across multiple states.
