About The Position

This position involves assembling flex duct in a manufacturing environment, utilizing either compressed cans or manual methods. Key responsibilities include setting up and loading assembly tooling with raw materials, accurately identifying raw materials by part number according to the production schedule, and making necessary adjustments to equipment. The role also requires completing the First Article process, meticulously filling out quality documents, and consistently maintaining a clean work area. For manual production lines, the employee must be capable of handling larger diameter products and completing the assembly process by hand, which typically involves heavier and more challenging assembly tasks. The work is performed under close supervision, following well-defined instructions and established procedures, and includes performing additional projects and duties to support ongoing business needs.

Requirements

• Must have good basic math skills.
• Must have legible handwriting.
• Ability to read labels and numbers.
• Ability to operate in high speed and fast-paced environment.
• Must be detailed oriented.
• Ability to apply good judgement, strong work ethics and integrity on the job.

Nice To Haves

• Prior machine operator experiences preferred but not mandatory.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred

Responsibilities
