The Baggage Attendant is responsible for providing comprehensive support to golfers at a golf facility, primarily focusing on the handling, storage, and maintenance of golf equipment and carts. Key duties include transporting clubs to and from guest vehicles and buses, managing golf bags at the bag drop, and assisting golfers with carts and equipment. The attendant will also distribute scorecards and pencils, prepare golf carts for play, and clean and store rental clubs. Maintaining the cleanliness of golf-related areas, documenting cart damage, and managing the practice facility (setup, breakdown, ball collection) are also part of the role. The position requires maintaining communication with the golf shop to ensure efficient operations and guest satisfaction, ensuring the security of all golf equipment, and notifying supervisors of important issues. Additionally, the attendant must adhere to all company policies and procedures, report unsafe conditions, maintain a professional appearance, protect company assets, and provide excellent guest service according to Marriott International standards, including assisting individuals with disabilities and fostering positive working relationships within the team.
