About The Position

Our client, the world’s most accurate forecaster, helps businesses — from global airlines to retail giants — harness the power of weather data to make smarter, faster, and more responsible decisions. They are looking for a Senior B2B Content Marketing Writer to join them on a contract basis. You will be a key storyteller for our enterprise and ad tech solutions, creating compelling, data-driven narratives that drive ROI for B2B clients in our client's fast-paced environment. Location: Fully remote in the US (must be available EST hours) Start date: April 1, 2026 Contract: 6 months with high likelihood to extend to a full 12 months Hours: 40 hrs/week Rate: $45-55/hr Job Description Core Responsibilities Vertical-Specific Content: Develop a wide range of high-impact content – including blog posts, email nurture campaigns, and long-form E-books/white papers – across a variety of product verticals & solutions (e.g., Aviation, Ad Tech, Broadcast/Digital Media, Government & Defense, and data APIs) for all stages of the customer journey. The New Search Frontier: Conduct SEO research, with a heavy emphasis on Answer Engine Optimization (AEO). You will ensure our content is cited as the "source of truth" for generative AI engines (Gemini, ChatGPT) for weather intelligence and related offerings. Client Storytelling: Conduct professional interviews with clients and internal SMEs (Meteorologists, Data Scientists, Product Marketers) to produce high-authority case study success stories. Interest in the weather is a plus. Multi-Channel Copy: Craft high-conversion product and landing pages and engagement-focused LinkedIn copy that positions us as the thought leader in weather intelligence and data tech. Qualifications Requirements & "The Perfect Fit" 6-10 Years Writing for B2B Audience: You have an impressive portfolio that proves you can write for B2B C-suite executives and technical practitioners alike. Deep Industry Fluency: Proven experience in any of our core verticals is a plus: Ad Tech: Understanding of cookieless targeting, contextual advertising, and "Mindset Marketing." Aviation/Gov: Understanding of operational efficiency, FAA/EWINs standards, and risk mitigation. Tech/APIs: Comfort writing about data integration (high level) and data use cases as well as visual storytelling through media products. Strategic Research: Demonstrated skill with SEO tools and a deep curiosity about how Generative AI is changing the way B2B buyers find information. Meticulous Proofreader: You have a relentless "editorial eye" that ensures every piece of content reflects the world's most accurate weather forecaster. Mastery of AP Style required. This role is tasked with updating and maintaining the integrity of all house style documentation. Accomplished Collaborator: This role works with all areas of the business and will need unmatched collaborative skills including listening, negotiating, tailoring the approach according to audience/key stakeholders, decision-making, and time management.
