About The Position

AVID Tutors work to facilitate and coach small groups of students who are engaged in academic problem-solving, under the direction of the classroom teacher. The tutors do not re-teach curriculum nor do they work as homework assignments. Tutors are engaged with the students as academic coaches to facilitate peer learning and instruction.

Requirements

• College degree or currently enrolled in college
• High School Diploma
