About The Position

The role of the Pricing Analyst is critical to ensuring the team maximizes value from its inventory. This position focuses on optimizing revenue and pricing models within the Purchasing Department, utilizing essential data gathered by the analyst. The role involves reporting directly to the Pricing Manager.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in aviation.
  • Knowledge of rotable parts.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Quick learning ability.
  • Experience analyzing sales and pricing of assets or commodities.
  • Familiarity with the aviation industry and aircraft knowledge.
  • Ability to analyze technical documents.
  • Experience with sourcing aircraft parts to fulfill customer requirements.
  • Extensive spreadsheet and database skills.
  • Self-directed and ability to work in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Advanced Excel.
  • Experience with data entry and reporting in a complex environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills using logic to arrive at solutions.
  • Knowledge of Inventory Locator Service (ILS) and other industry supply resources is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily pricing activities, including market and price research for inquiries from the Sales Department and coordination of pricing requests and RFPs.
  • Perform thorough analysis of research, demand, and market trends to set prices for new inventory.
  • Review and adjust pricing for aging or slow-moving inventory.
  • Utilize established procedures, tools, equipment, and technologies to complete inquiries related to pricing and inventory management.
  • Participate in process improvements by utilizing the quality system.
  • Perform other administrative duties as needed.
