About The Position

Kimley-Horn's Mesa, Arizona (AZ) office is seeking an Aviation Planner with 1+ years of experience to join their Aviation team. This is not a remote position.

Requirements

1+ years of prior aviation planning experience
Working knowledge of the airport environment and FAA regulations
Experience preparing traffic impact studies, multi-modal planning studies and improvements, traffic signal and lighting plans, signing and striping plans, and a variety of technical and planning reports
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to work with and balance priorities among multiple projects

Responsibilities

Support planning of airport projects
Support and prepare various technical planning analysis/studies that may include Airport Master Plans, Parking, Ground Transportation, Rental Car, and Roadway studies
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of aviation management and other staff, contractors, and others encountered in the course of work
As a critical member of the team, you will perform a variety of planner tasks and will receive both on-the-job and formal training as well as mentorship and exposure to plan production, project financials, and client interactions
