About The Position

Kimley-Horn's Mesa, Arizona (AZ) office is seeking an Aviation Planner with 1+ years of experience to join their Aviation team. This is not a remote position. As a critical member of the team, you will perform a variety of planner tasks and will receive both on-the-job and formal training as well as mentorship and exposure to plan production, project financials, and client interactions Why Kimley-Horn? Requirements

  • 1+ years of prior aviation planning experience
  • Working knowledge of the airport environment and FAA regulations
  • Experience preparing traffic impact studies, multi-modal planning studies and improvements, traffic signal and lighting plans, signing and striping plans, and a variety of technical and planning reports
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work with and balance priorities among multiple projects

Responsibilities

  • Support planning of airport projects
  • Support and prepare various technical planning analysis/studies that may include Airport Master Plans, Parking, Ground Transportation, Rental Car, and Roadway studies
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of aviation management and other staff, contractors, and others encountered in the course of work
