Join our Quality Assurance team as a National Airspace (NAS) Western Service Area quality assurance specialist. The selected candidate will be a subject matter expert in supporting the review, analysis and oversight in the processing of aircraft accidents and incidents, air traffic incidents, and safety initiatives. This will include Vehicle/Pedestrian Deviations, Near Mid-Air collisions, and other miscellaneous documentation maintained by the Quality Control Group (QCG). The chosen candidate will review incident reports to identify potential quality control concerns after significant events and respond or follow up. This includes post-incident reviews and processing events forwarded by headquarters. The selected candidate will review proposed changes to the National Airspace System (NAS), build safety cases and identify risk. The selected candidate must have excellent customer service skills necessary to interact with senior level management and internal and external customers, as well as foster an environment of cooperation between different departments and co-workers. The chosen applicant will interface with Air Traffic Control (ATC) field facilities, Service Centers, Headquarters, and vendors, as necessary, to stay abreast of current and future ATC automated systems. The selected candidate will maintain records and provide reports of progress and problems at Service Area’s field facilities.
