About The Position

We are seeking an experienced AV/VC Event Coordinator. The role consists mainly of managing and scheduling AV services globally for our Onsite and Remote Event Technicians. The functions of the role also include assisting in conference setup, and performing troubleshooting remotely. The ideal candidate understands what is needed to run successful events, and has excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. Oversee planning and coordination of AV event support from large events to small user groups Consult with cross-functional teams and internal users regarding the exact audio-visual requirements for events Clearly communicate technical information about event space technology to internal and external requesters Participate in regular weekly meetings to discuss upcoming events and their requirements Diagnose infrastructure problems impacting one or many internal platform activities Utilize client-provided tools and systems to complete team tasks Use chat, voice, and video communication systems to assist event help requests Communicate any foreseeable problems to the team manager at the earliest opportunity Follow all client-required policies, standards, or safety guidelines

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in AV/VC event coordination
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with computers and help desk tools, along with strong typing skills
  • Demonstrated success in event coordination and project coordination
  • Demonstrate positive and professional behavior towards clients and colleagues
  • Excellent understanding of signal flow in both audio and video installations
  • A career path that demonstrates increasing levels of responsibility and proven success in delivering measurable results
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional organization
  • Proficiency with any helpdesk support ticket management software
  • IT knowledge of Android, iOS, Mac, Windows, and Linux operating systems
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Cal)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution preferred
