About The Position

Piedmont Rockdale is a 161-bed, acute care, not-for profit community hospital in Conyers that has provided compassionate, patient-centered care to Rockdale County and surrounding communities since 1954. They offer 24-hour emergency services, including interventional cardiology, critical care, obstetrics, and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). They are a Primary Stroke Center with on-site neurohospitalists. In addition to traditional medical and surgical services, they proudly provide subspecialized care from fellowship-trained providers in advanced gastroenterology and medical and surgical oncology as well as colorectal, breast, thoracic, orthopedic and robotic surgery. Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • 3 years of relevant professional experience in a non-profit or healthcare environment.
  • Must have demonstrated experience working with the public.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree within non-profit, healthcare, or social services field of study
  • Experience in volunteer management, retail/gift shop setting, and program management is Preferred
  • Leadership training and accounting practices

Responsibilities

  • To oversee and manage the functions of the hospital Auxiliary, including volunteer services and Auxiliary-based fundraising activities, while supporting both hospital and Auxiliary goals and objectives.
  • To serve as a liaison between the Auxiliary board and hospital management/staff.
