About The Position

Piedmont Rockdale is a 161-bed, acute care, not-for-profit community hospital in Conyers, GA, that has provided compassionate, patient-centered care to Rockdale County and surrounding communities since 1954. The hospital offers 24-hour emergency services, including interventional cardiology, critical care, obstetrics, and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). It is a Primary Stroke Center with on-site neurohospitalists. In addition to traditional medical and surgical services, Piedmont Rockdale provides subspecialized care from fellowship-trained providers in advanced gastroenterology and medical and surgical oncology, as well as colorectal, breast, thoracic, orthopedic, and robotic surgery. The Auxiliary Services Specialist role involves overseeing and managing the functions of the hospital Auxiliary, including volunteer services and Auxiliary-based fundraising activities, while supporting both hospital and Auxiliary goals and objectives. This role also serves as a liaison between the Auxiliary board and hospital management/staff.

Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • 3 years of relevant professional experience in a non-profit or healthcare environment.
  • Must have demonstrated experience working with the public.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree within non-profit, healthcare, or social services field of study
  • Experience in volunteer management, retail/gift shop setting, and program management
  • Leadership training and accounting practices

Responsibilities

  • To oversee and manage the functions of the hospital Auxiliary, including volunteer services and Auxiliary-based fundraising activities, while supporting both hospital and Auxiliary goals and objectives.
  • To serve as a liaison between the Auxiliary board and hospital management/staff.
