Key Responsibilities Primary role is to process all new and used vehicle titles, registrations, and related documentation Submit and track title work through state portals (e.g., DMV, eTAG, CVR) Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations Resolve title discrepancies, lien issues, and missing documentation Maintain logs, schedules, and inventory records Communicate with customers, lenders, and state agencies as needed Perform related accounting functions Backup billing and audit functions (learn and cover these tasks when someone is out) Verify accuracy of all paperwork submitted by sales and finance departments Review Vehicle Sales records and record the accounting Assist with collecting sales contracts from lenders Assist with miscellaneous accounting functions related to the sales staff Record sales of Insurance/Warranty products and submission of contracts What We’re Looking For Minimum 1–2 years of automotive title clerk experience (required) Strong knowledge of state title regulations and dealership processes High attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time‑management skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Proficiency with dealership management systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, etc.) is a plus
