About the Role We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Title Clerk to manage all aspects of vehicle title processing for both retail sales and wholesale transactions. You will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate completion of documentation to support a smooth customer experience and maintain compliance.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience as an Automotive Title Clerk (required).
Proficient in DMV procedures and regulations in CT.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with dealership management systems (DMS), such as Automate is a plus.

Responsibilities

Process all new and used vehicle titles and registrations accurately and efficiently.
Prepare and submit all necessary documentation to the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or third-party title services.
Reconcile title and registration schedules and track titles sent to banks/lienholders.
Manage the flow of paperwork between the sales, finance, and office departments.
Resolve any title discrepancies, errors, or issues promptly.
Execute and track vehicle payoffs and titles
Stock in new and used vehicles
Track title receipts from the auction
Break down deals after delivery
Maintain an organized and accurate filing system for all title documents.
Track contract fundings with lenders
Assist Finance Manager with basic funding issues
