We are seeking a reliable and outgoing Automotive Service Porter to join our service department team. The ideal candidate will welcome customers, support our service advisors, and ensure the safe and clean movement of customer vehicles within the dealership. This role requires working in a non-climate controlled environment and the ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles. Requirements

  • Valid and unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Professional appearance and dependable work ethic
  • Customer service and safety focused
  • Basic computer and internet literacy
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to read and follow instructions accurately
  • Physical ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as necessary

Responsibilities

  • Greet all customers arriving at the service area with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Install disposable protective coverings such as seat covers, steering wheel covers, and floor mats on vehicles brought in for service
  • Move customer vehicles in and around the lot and service areas while ensuring they remain clean and free of damage
  • Deliver keys and repair orders to the appropriate Service Advisor after parking vehicles
  • Retrieve vehicles for customers at pick-up and thank them for their business
  • Maintain safety and security guidelines at all times
  • Assist with cleaning and custodial tasks in the shop and lot areas as needed
  • Attend staff meetings, trainings, and educational sessions as required
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support dealership operations
