About The Position

There's plenty of room to grow at I-5 Cars! Awesome Chevy is looking for a highly motivated Service Advisor/Warranty Clerk that is focused on customer satisfaction to join our team. This hybrid role combines administrative expertise in warranty processing with front-line customer service responsibilities in the service department. Requirements

  • Previous experience in automotive service advising, warranty administration, or a related role preferred
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Basic understanding of automotive systems and repairs

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency with Tekion dealership management systems (DMS) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive service experience
  • Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues
  • Provide service recommendations, estimates, and timelines
  • Maintain consistent communication with customers regarding vehicle status
  • Upsell recommended services based on vehicle needs
  • Process and submit warranty claims in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
  • Verify warranty coverage and ensure proper documentation
  • Track and follow up on outstanding claims and reimbursements
  • Maintain organized records of all warranty transactions
  • Communicate with manufacturers and internal teams to resolve claim issues
