Requirements

  • Prior automotive sales strongly recommended.
  • Strong work history.
  • Reliability and work ethic.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Guide customers through the entire vehicle purchasing process, from initial inquiry to final delivery, ensuring a smooth and positive buying experience.
  • Conduct needs assessments to understand customers’ preferences, budget, and lifestyle in order to recommend the most suitable vehicle options.
  • Demonstrate vehicle features, conduct test drives, and clearly explain performance, safety, technology, and financing options.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to generate repeat business and referrals.
  • Proactively prospect through phone calls, online leads, social media, networking events, and dealership traffic.
  • Qualify buyers by assessing needs, trade-in opportunities, and financing eligibility.
  • Present pricing, negotiate terms professionally, and close sales while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with finance and service departments to ensure seamless delivery and post-sale support.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product inventory, manufacturer programs, incentives, and competitor offerings.
